ScratchTools hosted the first ever ScratchTools Awards today in order to celebrate the hundreds of submissions for the open event and in order to celebrate the 2nd birthday of the browser extension. The show was hosted via a livestream, which had many viewers and later led to an afterparty in the ScratchTools Community Discord server.
The show started with the announcement of the specific awards categories, and then ended with the open submissions announcements. After the honorable mentions were announced, ScratchStation, a project depicting a Scratch version of a PlayStation console, was announced as the winner.
The project was created by FANJOUA, who many know as the Scratch YouTuber McVincient. McVincient has created videos related to ScratchTools before. ScratchStation became very popular, reaching over 130,000 views on Scratch.
